Aqualux wins international Hilton contract

Rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s biggest names, Aqualux has secured an international contract to supply a signature range of bespoke shower enclosures to the famous Hilton hotel chain.
 Offering a stylish and practical showering solution, Aqualux’s expert in-house design team, led by Neil Harrison, created three unique walk-in shower enclosures exclusively for the hotel giant.
Designed to mirror the hotel chains casual and relaxed ethos, Aqualux created 93 Cosmopolitan B-shape Walk-In enclosures for a new Hilton Garden Inn opening in New Delhi, India. The contemporary shower enclosure features a unique elevated drying area for easy maintenance, complemented with a fully integrated tray solution and unique tread specific for Hilton Garden Inns, the fastest growing brand in the Hilton Hotel Group.
Following the successful installation in New Delhi, Aqualux supplied another bespoke enclosure, Mondial, a simplistic adaptation of Cosmopolitan, to the Hampton Hotel, another branch of the Hilton Empire.
Completing the exclusive Hilton shower enclosure series the contemporary Continental 1600 joins Mondial on display for existing and potential franchisees at Hilton headquarter showrooms worldwide, including Memphis and L.A.
Neil Harrison commented: “Throughout the design process care was taken to achieve a contemporary design with attention to the important details that ‘make’ the design.
“Starting with the available footprint, a walk-in solution was created for recess fitting. The use of a single fixed curved front panel gives an enhanced showering area with the advantage of no moving parts. The tray tread pattern and drying area surfaces were developed to meet a combination of functional and aesthetic goals.”
